Job search assistance such as interview techniques, how to prepare a resume, and placement service started 1 month before completion of course.

Training, tuition, fees, books, materials, and reimbursement of associated costs such as childcare and transportation.  Additional necessary support such as car repair, equipment, or eyeglasses also may be provided.

Advanced education is expected to include all post-high school training.  The Idaho Department of Education publishes a “Guide to Higher Education in Idaho” on an annual basis that includes general descriptions of all of the state-funded two-year and four-year colleges, as well as several private institutions of higher education.  A wide range of technical and professional education programs are offered through these numerous institutions.

All courses of study and all institutions listed in the guide should be eligible for ACIF support.  In addition, training opportunities included on the “Approved Training Providers List” qualify for ACIF (see your local Job Service office for this list).  Students who wish to receive support for study not included in the guide or list will be required to submit a petition for an accreditation review of their chosen program.
